“Millions of workers can expect to see about $13 extra in their weekly paychecks, starting around June, from a new $400 tax credit to be doled out through the rest of the year. Couples would get up to $800. In 2010, the credit would be about $7.70 a week, if it is spread over the entire year.”
Well what are we going to do with an extra $13 then $7.70 per week in tax savings? Do you feel stimulated? Or, are you just going to see an extra x per week? I have a feeling that this is not really going to help this stimulate anything other than future debt for our next generations. I don’t understand this as a stimulous because it will not make much difference in the long run for the average American that is just squeking by from day to day.
No, I am not trying to be negative here. I just really wonder how this will help. Will it save a person from loosing their house? Most likely not. Will it pay for the next wave of gasoline price increases? Most likely not. I sadly feel that we will be right back where we were and now with a larger national debt. As I watch this bill being brought into law, I see my stock values going down (on average). How stimulating! How Invigorating!
Let’s get some of YOUR thoughts here in this!!!
